MULAG is one of the leading German manufacturers of Ground Support Equipment with a large product range of towing and pushback tractors, conveyor belt vehicles and container pallet transporters. Now the product range of airport tractors has been updated and extended with redesigned Diesel tractors and a new range of electric tractors.
The Comet Diesel tractor range was updated with state-of-the-art Diesel engines featuring a new cabin design and engine bonnet, as well as an optimized ergonomically designed dashboard and other features. The concept behind the new design leads to improved overall ergonomics, higher operator convenience e.g. with an optimized all-round view. Ranging from the smallest tractor Comet 3 up to the heaviest tractor Comet 12 the customer gets the latest design with innovative technology made in Germany.
There’s also a new range of electric airport tractors: The Comet 3E is ideally suited for baggage handling with its 20 kN drawbar pull and a dead weight of 3.7t while driving up to 30 km/h. The heavier Comet 4E has a dead weight of 4.7t and is able to handle baggage and light cargo. Rounding up the innovative product range is the Comet 6E with a dead weight of 6.5t, a powerful two-circuit regenerative break system and heavy duty axles well suited for demanding cargo applications. The innovative range of electric tractors meets the demands for high availability, great agility and low maintenance costs – this is MULAG quality.

From 8 – 11 October 2019, inter airport Europe 2019, the 22nd International Exhibition for Airport Equipment, Technology, Design and Services will take place at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany. Renowned as the leading one stop shop event for the entire airport industry, inter airport Europe is the first choice for airport operators when it comes to sourcing the latest airport equipment, technology and services for ground handling, terminal operations, airport IT and airport design. With its international audience of industry professionals from airports, airlines, air cargo carriers and aviation support the exhibition offers suppliers to the airport sector a unique marketing platform.
The last inter airport Europe in 2017 closed with a record visitor number. A total of 13,854 trade visitors from 110 countries came to Munich to discover the latest trends in the airport industry and source innovative equipment and systems. This represents a 9% increase in visitor numbers compared to the previous show. With 654 exhibitors from 43 countries on a total of 31,800 square metres net exhibition space, inter airport Europe 2017 was the biggest ever, increasing the floor space by 7%.
