Technology expert will showcase how its solutions deliver certainty, agility and uptime for the energy and utilities sectors

NEC Display Solutions Europe will attend both European Utility Week and POWERGEN Europe 2019 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles on November 12-14, 2019.

The display technology expert will present some of its latest innovations, including its new generation of LCD displays, dvLED screens and Hiperwall multiple source management software for the control room.

NEC will address its end customers at stand B141 in the event exhibition hall. The booth will showcase an in-depth demonstration of how NEC’s display solutions work together in a control room environment:

  • Smart situational visualisation – With unlimited flexibility, Hiperwall gives operators the big picture from any number of visual outputs, with data fed from multiple sources. Supremely easy to operate, Hiperwall delivers content from single operator desktops, or projection in breakout rooms to large digital canvases for a common overview, delivering informed decision-making in the shortest time possible. In turn, this contributes to improved risk mitigation and higher operational efficiency, resulting in lower overall operational costs.
  • dvLED and LCD control room displays – NEC’s latest range of dvLED screens delivers large-scale and plug-and-play visualisation capabilities, enabling utilities to deploy high-resolution, dynamic information in any environment.
  • 24/7 capability – NEC displays are designed to perform reliably in the long term. They are well-suited to the need for intense, 24/7 operation in the control room.
  • Fault tolerant operation – NEC delivers maximum uptime and operational safety through its fault tolerant Hiperwall operation, as well as through power and data redundancy with dvLED and LCD video wall displays. They offer continuous processing through failures and allow continuous service without application outages, ensuring mission-critical applications are performed with outstanding high system availability.

Dietmar Salewski, Sales Director for Energy, Utilities and Security at NEC Display Solutions Europe, said: “It’s a pleasure to catch up with our customers and partners in the energy and utilities space. The volume, speed and diversity of information is growing fast in the energy market, making it more important than ever for operators to be able to visualise all assets and facilities quickly and easily. Our solutions combine a deep appreciation for the needs of control room managers and operators, giving them precision, efficiency and agility in an industry that is constantly in flux.”
