Nuctech Serve the State Visit President Xi Jinping Pays to Serbia

Nutech 1On Jun, 17th, 2016, President Xi Jinping pays state visit to Serbia, Poland, and Uzbekistan. It is the first state visit the head of China pays to Serbia after 32 years.

The very specific set of X-Ray Inspection System of Nuctech serving the visit has successfully fulfilled many security tasks of Serbian national affairs since the year of 2012 including the 3rd China-Central and Eastern European Countries Summit held in Belgrade the capital of Serbia in December, 2014. The same type of system was used in the 4th China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Summit held in the Lake Taihu, Suzhou in November, 2015.

Serbia became China’s first strategic partner in CEEC after established the strategic partnership with China in 2009. As one of the fruits it brought, Nuctech signed a procurement contract with the Serbian Customs on several sets of Mobile Container/Vehicle Inspection System, X-Ray Inspection System, and an Air Cargo Inspection System the same year, as well as 8 later installed Liquid Inspection System. Scanning the passing containers, cargos, and baggage, these products had been deployed in the ports, wharfs, airports and other places of significance in Serbia.

In May, 2011, the Mobile Container/Vehicle Inspection System mentioned above had been put into use in Serbia, indicating the nation had successfully realized the modernization of Customs’ inspection machines which had dramatically improved the efficiency as well as the safety of the nation’s Customs Clearance.

Later in July, 2012, a ceremony was held in the Capital Airport of Serbia by the Serbian Customs Administration for the put-into-use of Nuctech’s equipment. The then Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Zhang Wanxue attended the ceremony and said that the usage of Nuctech’s Air Cargo Inspection System in Serbian Capital Airport was a great achievement between the two countries in the field of high-tech cooperation, which would speed up the Customs Clearance, promote the Serbian foreign trade, and better maintain the national and people’s security interests of Serbia. It was a step forward in the China-Serbia cooperation in the field of high-tech, and would further enrich the connotation of the China-Serbia comprehensive strategic partnership.

During the years with Nuctech aside, Serbia has achieved remarkable results in combatting the smuggling of drug, gold and cigarette, as well as human smuggling.
