New mobile applications expand the range of ERP core functions

The manufacturing specialist PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH will be presenting new mobile applications as an extension of the PSIpenta ERP and MES Suite from 10 to 14 March at the CeBIT in Hannover (Hall 5, Stand E16). With the new apps for smartphones and tablets, the range of the business applications is being significantly expanded.

The focus of the development was on processes and application scenarios in the area of service and field service. With this, the affected staff will be included in the corporate-wide core processes. The concepts and applications on which this is based have been developed in conjunction with users, presented recently at a customer conference and are being made available at the CeBIT 2014. This simplifies the case handling, the feedback from the service actions and the collecting of the relevant personnel time tracking. The processing times of all the activities right up to the invoicing can therefore be significantly reduced with the new PSIpenta smart apps.

The integration of the devices with the stationary backend is performed by wifi or mobile connections. And all the current security standards and infrastructures are supported. Along with platform-independent applications, solutions are also offered for iOS, Android and Windows. These mobile working processes and workflows will be demonstrated in an integrated PSIpenta ERP and MES environment at the exhibition stand.

PSIPENTA is also expecting a lot of user interest in manufacturing solutions from this year's partner country Great Britain.
