Passenger Boarding Stairs, Toilet and Water Service Units, Catering High Lifts

Founded by Terence Adrian Mallaghan in the 1960’s, Mallaghan has fast become a leading supplier in the field of Aircraft ground support equipment. Like other members of his family, Terence pursued a career in engineering. His interest took him too many parts of Europe and the Far East. It was from one these journeys that he identified a business opportunity in the manufacture and supply of Airport Ground Support Equipment.

Having identified a need within the aviation industry for schedule streamlining, Mallaghan embarked on a detailed programme of research and development, the result of which is the LBT90 and BT92, a unique multi-purpose aircraft loading system.

This continued research also looked into the needs of the disabled passenger, highlighting the risks to passengers and staff whilst boarding the aircraft. This resulted in the manufacture of the Mallaghan Disabled Passenger vehicle. The Mallaghan product range also includes aircraft catering vehicles, of which both truck-mounted and self-propelled units are available (including the latest A380 catering truck). New products added during 1998 include Toilet Service Units, Water Service Units and Passenger Stairs.

Mallaghan has placed aircraft safety at the top of its priority list in the design and development of all new products. Mallaghan GSE products are equipped to provide top-level aircraft protection during operation, thereby conforming to all relevant aviation authority standards. Senior management ensure that customer requirements are met precisely and that company engineers react quickly to customer demands.
