Mallaghan are proud to announce the delivery of “Cand-ice”, a prestigious Aircraft Deicing Rig delivered to Stobart Air at London Southend Airport. Stobart Air is the operator of London Southend Airport, the capital’s newest international airport. In addition to providing an attractive new base for scheduled international passenger and private flights, the facility is home to numerous successful aviation businesses and subsidiary operations.  As with all, each Eddie Stobart vehicle is identified by a unique girl’s name with “Cand-ice” being very fitting to the Mallaghan ‘TA4500’ Model De-icing Rig.

The first Eddie Stobart truck was named ‘Twiggy’ by Edward Stobart, after the 1960’s supermodel. We look forward to watching the successful development of this emerging airport and we are proud to have our equipment utilised for airside operations.
