With the new Check-in application for the Xovis PTS Suite it is possible to measure any waiting even in unstructured and dynamic queuing situations. To track every individual passenger in the full Check-in area, the Xovis PTS is used. The waiting area is covered with PT2 and PT3 3D stereo vision sensors installed on the ceiling. While the PT2 sensor is used for lower ceiling heights, the new PT3 sensor is ideally suited to cover high Check-in halls with up to 20 m ceiling height. The 3D stereo vision technology guarantees high tracking accuracy and robustness. Based on this tracking the outstanding and patented Xovis queue detection will check the scene for any dynamic queue and will allocated each queue to the according check-in desk.
