Passenger Tracking Systems, Passenger Counting Systems, Waiting Time Measurements

Company Xovis
Date 14.11.2013

Copenhagen Airport is measuring the passenger flow and the waiting time at Terminal 2 with the Xovis PTS. The full coverage of the check-in allows the airport operation to measure and manage the waiting times for the check-in. With the dynamic queue detection and the new check-in desk allocation, Xovis is able to handle all situations without any reconfiguration or fixed lining set ups.

Quoting CPH: "We are impressed with the Xovis system ability to correctly detect and measure the queues in our very dynamic check-in allocation, and we look forward to explore the possibilities for extending the coverage to the remaining check-in areas as well as other queuing and flow areas in the terminals.”

This worldwide unique feature is an important step for airport to measure the complete chain of their processes.
