Pteris Global Limited is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract of approximately S$29 million to design and build Transfer Hold Baggage Screening systems for Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1, 2 and 3.
Pteris Global will modify the existing systems in all three terminals to increase the handling and screening capacity for transfer bags. The enhanced systems will eventually enable Changi Airport to achieve a 100% hold baggage screening for transfer bags.
The project is scheduled to be completed in 22 months.
This is the Company’s second major contract for the second quarter. The Company had earlier announced that it had secured a S$53 million baggage handling system contract for Mumbai International Airport.
