Airbus ProSky, the Air Traffic Management (ATM) subsidiary of Airbus, and AZIMUT JSC, the leading Russian ATM provider have agreed to jointly develop innovative air traffic management solutions. The respective agreement was announced and signed at World ATM Congress taking place in Madrid between Paul-Franck Bijou, Airbus ProSky CEO and Asker Saidov, AZIMUT CEO.

Under the agreement, the parties have committed to share best competences in ATM, develop integrated ATM and airport management services (Collaborative Decision Making), and jointly implement Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) solutions.

Building on the success of the partners' expertise, this partnership will pave the way for the development and implementation of the most advanced ATM solutions. The result will be an improvement of air transportation, its capacity, predictability and efficiency, while contributing to a sustainable future.

Saidov, stated, "We hope that our close collaboration with Airbus ProSky will lead us to develop new technologies in both Air Traffic Management and Information Management that will benefit various participants of the aviation system. Ultimately, a common solution could be implemented as in Russia as in different regions of the world."
