Ricochet AS – a leading supplier of synchronized communication and surveillance recording within ATC, compliance and public safety sector – has been awarded a contract through their partner Kongsberg Norcontrol IT for installation of two recording systems in Namibia.
Ricochet’s technology will be a integrated in Kongsberg Norcontrol IT’s total system solution and be installed at Walvis Bay and Lüderitz Port.
Walvis Bay is Namibia's largest commercial port, handling 1,000 vessel calls per year and over 2.5 million tons of cargo. Lüderitz Port is historically Namibia's second largest port, and has expanded in recent years to ship cargo from the mining industry and to support and service offshore petroleum exploration and diamond mining activities.
