Jotron AS is a leading supplier of state of the art VHF/UHF radio systems and controllers for the global ATC and coastal communication market. “The addition of Ricochet’s highly respected and recognised unified recording systems for voice, screen and radar will complete the Jotron portfolio and strengthen our market position,” says Magnus Vold, Managing Director at Jotron AS. ”We expect this to create significant synergies for Jotron, Ricochet and our customers.”

Ricochet will form part of Jotron’s recently established ATC and Coastal Communication Division.

Ricochet AS is a world leader in the supply of advanced recording and replay systems for ATC. Via multiple partners worldwide, Ricochet is serving its customers globally with legal recording and replay systems according to ICAO and CAP 670 requirements. “This acquisition opens up new opportunities and will strengthen Ricochet AS even further,” says Øivind Ramde, Chairman and CTO at Ricochet AS. “We are in the same markets with complementary products and see synergy effects in all areas of our business.
