Regula released a new version of Document Reader SDK – 4.12.5. This version contains a number of changes and fixes, along with the updated database of document templates (243 countries/territories and 7037 document templates included, with 268 new templates among them).
The key features of the newly updated Document Reader SDK 4.12.5 include:
- OCR for Latin, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Vietnamese and Balkan alphabets has been significantly improved both in speed and accuracy.
- RFID: IMPORTANT! New firmware version 21.13. It is recommended to update your 21.x firmware series devices to this new version.
- SDK installation package size has been greatly reduced due to the removal of redundant 3rd party libraries.
- CPU utilization in document video detection mode has been improved.
