Okatent developed a large demountable structure for the aviation sector in Fuerteventura. The project measures 45 metres wide, 90 metres long, and 20 metres high, creating a large open space designed to facilitate aircraft access and movement.
Thanks to its modular design, this type of structure can be adapted to the needs of the aviation sector, such as aircraft storage, maintenance, or protection.
A relocatable structure makes it possible to adapt to changes over time. In the aviation sector, requirements can change, and having a relocatable aircraft hangar allows the structure to be modified, expanded, or relocated without having to build a new one from scratch.
For this reason, it offers several advantages, including:
Greater flexibility: Every aviation project has specific requirements. Relocatable aircraft hangars can be adapted to the available dimensions, the type of aircraft, and each customer’s operational requirements.
Possibility of relocating the structure: One of the main advantages is the possibility of moving the hangar to another location.
Adaptation to future expansions: Thanks to their modular design, hangars can be expanded by adding new modules when activity increases or additional space is required.
Investment optimization: As an adaptable and reusable solution, a relocatable aircraft hangar makes it possible to optimize resources compared to a traditional fixed construction.
