While e-commerce hasn't killed off high-street travel agencies, despite fears that it would, technological advances and financial issues have led to the decline of in-airport travel agents. While this has been an unfortunate casualty of progress in the industry the technology is now there to bring the travel agency back to the airport, in a digital rather than a physical capacity.
