The MRT 300 truck from SMETS-Technology is a marking removal vehicle for use on roads, pavements and runways. Designed for professional use, the truck employs suction technology to entirely remove markings without damaging surfaces.

One or two removing devices are featured on the front of the MRT 300 which measure 300mm in diameter and can be lifted and swivelled 105°. A hydraulically driven chain allows the device to move along the width of the truck for work to be carried out on both sides. SMETS-Technology have designed a completely flexible solution which ensures a constant distance between surface and device through height adjustable, robust wheels.

Line Marking Removal

The truck is capable of removing any type of line marking and is manufactured with a focus on the importance of control for the operator. As such the line marking removal truck can be managed from directly within the cabin.

Three mounted cameras, two at the front of the vehicle and one at the back, allow the driver to monitor the process for accuracy and a mounted joystick is used to operate the forward and backwards movement.

MRT 300 Marking Removal

The MRT 300 marking removal truck has been designed with safety, reliability and environmental-friendliness in mind, meeting modern demands for such a product.

Water levels within the tank are continuously monitored so that the operator can be notified visually when the lower point is reached and take appropriate action. Should the water level drop below this, an automatic switch is made to the pressure-less system which eliminates the risk of dry running in the high pressure pump.

The high pressure pump will also switch off immediately should the driver step on the clutch or brake to avoid damage to the surface which is being treated. Only when the marking removal truck is in motion can the system be activated.

Suction completely withdraws all water and debris into the waste water tank, even when at full load which sees 2750 bar of pressure at 29 L/min while the vehicles travels at 4.8m/h.
