Runway/Aircraft De-Icing & Anti-Icing Fluids

Kilfrost, the global leader in de/anti-icing solutions has announced its first sales of Type IV fluids to Chinggis Khaan International Airport near Ulaanbaatar in Mongolia during the Winter season of 2011/2012.  Kilfrost has also been invited to discuss future co-operation with the Mongolian Civil Aviation Authority.

The new agreement and forthcoming discussions with Mongolia build on Kilfrost's successful expansion into overseas markets.  In 2011, 76% of Kilfrost's sales were made overseas, with significant growth in demand from the Chinese market.

Chinggis Khaan International Airport was retitled from its original name of Buyant-Ukhaa airport on December 21, 2005 to celebrate the 800th anniversary of the establishment of a Mongolian State.  Chinggis Khaan airport provides services to the aircrafts flying to destinations including Japan Tokyo, Germany Berlin and Hong Kong.
