Airport joint seals - High-quality adhesives and sealants

Airport joint seals require specific and tailored solutions. The aprons and runways often consist of large concrete areas, divided into fields with expansion joints. These joints require a seal that can withstand UV, mechanical, chemical and thermal loads, and that can be efficiently applied in large volumes.When refuelling and de-icing the aeroplanes, volatile hydrocarbons (kerosene) and polymer-like substances (used for de-icing) should be prevented from contaminating the soil. Furthermore, when the aeroplanes are being maintained, the soil must be protected from chemical loads. SABA offers various products for use at airports.
