SESAR is the European Air Traffic Control Infrastructure Modernisation Programme

At the last meeting of the SESAR JU’s Administrative Board, its members adopted the updated European ATM Master Plan in principle. The final decision will be confirmed once the consultation of the Single Sky Committee and the internal decision making process of the European Commission are completed. The Board commended the members and SESAR JU staff involved in the update campaign for the good work performed complying with tight deadlines. The update constitutes a key component towards the achievement of the Single European Sky; it also serves as a reference for Europe’s cohesive approach at the upcoming ICAO 12th Air Navigation Conference.
