SideBull Highlifter for Aircraft: Passenger Transport (PRM, VIP) Catering, Cleaning, Maintenance

Fast and comfortable from the ground to the door of the plane: that’s how the SideBull (formerly known as SideCat) transports its passengers or freight. The ground handling service at Frankfurt Airport have already chosen, since 2008, to use this prize-winning transport system for  passengers with disabilities. Now, Fraport have ordered two more  SideBull Passenger PRM as Ambulift vehicles for the servicing of the A-380.

Without a step, the cabin of the XXL goes from ground level to more than 8 meters. Because of its solid construction, the lift to this height is possible without the use of stabilisers. The vehicle can easily reach the various doors of the flying giant, including the one that has the disadvantage of being over a  wing. Furthermore, the dimensions of the SideBull Highlifter are by comparison delicate: the vehicle’s a total width of 3 meters and length of 7 meters means that the SideBull XXL is compacter, more space-saving and more agile than competitor vehicles.

The delivery of the two new A380-SideBulls is scheduled for Autumn 2011.
