DGM-Software Development Group A/S introduces new Safety Data Sheets Modules in DGOffice™

The addition of the Safety Data Sheets module (SDS) to DGOffice.net marks a major turn in the way chemicals are managed during production, storage, handling and transportation. In short, it offers the easiest way to manage chemicals and streamline the process of informing individuals on the substances they are working with.

The Safety Data Sheets module (SDS) comprises two key elements: the Basic module and the Editor module both build around the integrated substance & phrase database.

The Basic module enables users to connect SDS’s provided by their suppliers to their product inventory. The Editor module allows users to create SDS’s from scratch.

Next to the Basic and Editor module, a location tree is available to which Work Place Instructions can be connected and in combination with the new User Group Management option, unlimited user interfaces can be created giving individual users exactly the information they need.

The Chemicals Labeling Module (CLM) is the indispensable tool that helps users to implement all of the labeling changes and to comply with the new GHS requirements in an easy manner. When generating an SDS in the Basic or Editor Module, all required information for the label is collected as well. You may choose from standard label designs or create your own using the label design wizard. The CLM module is seamlessly integrated with the Safety Data Sheets Module (SDS) as well as the Own Articles Module of the DGOffice™ suite.

The modular design ensures that you use only the software that is applicable in your situation.
