Sometimes it's the little details that make all the difference! In the latest edition of PathPlanner A5, version 5.90, it is now possible to reduce the operational limits of a selected passenger boarding bridge, thus eliminating the need to request a new bridge for each specific operational range. Further, the revised Taxiway Edge Safety Margin for Airplane Design Group VI as per Change 17 of FAA Advisory Circular 150/5300-13 has been incorporated.

Bentley MicroStation users will experience a significant improvement in handling speed, in particular when dealing with large gate design files. Version 5.90 also introduces compatibility with GStarCAD, Bricscad V12 and Bentley PowerCivil V8i SELECT series 2. The latest libraries also contain a lot of new and updated aircraft, vehicle and passenger boarding bridge information.

PathPlanner A5 users with a valid Software Maintenance Agreement are invited to download version 5.90 from the Simtra support website and read all the details in the release notes.
