AEO-F approval confirms COMSOFT’s compliance with the highest security standards

German ATC expert COMSOFT successfully underwent a comprehensive testing procedure by the customs authorities on all specifications regarding customs and safety, as well as for reliability and solvency.

The granting of AEO-F status calls for a secure supply and production chain of the AEO in terms of the implemented regulations of the European Union and German customs. Certified as a Known Consignor since November 2012, the newly obtained certification as AEO-F included thorough procedure testing, and the optimisation of logistics processes, in accordance with the required safety criteria, and employees were made aware of potential hazards.

In addition to this, earlier in the year CAA Prague (the regulator supervising civil aviation in the Czech Republic) also successfully completed an audit to re-approve COMSOFT as a supplier for the Czech Air Navigation Service Provider ANS.

COMSOFT can also confirm a number of internationally recognised ISO accreditations that benefit their worldwide customer base, including the recertification of ISO 9001, for quality management, to which they have so far been certified for 20 consecutive years – uninterrupted since 1993.

The ISO/IEC 27001 certificate for internal IT security has also been accredited since 2005 and was followed in 2011 by the ISO/IEC 20000-1 certification for the provision of Information Technology services, in conformance to the de-facto-standard ITIL. Certification ISO 14001 for environmental management has also been awarded to the German specialist since spring 2009.
