COMSOFT ATC expert has significant role in SMATSA’s FAMUS project.

Belgrade/Serbia, June 2011 – COMSOFT has supplied various ATM components to Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services Agency Ltd (SMATSA) and participated in finalising the installation in Belgrade for the Future ATM Modernisation and Upgrade System (FAMUS). The project was successfully concluded by signing the On-Site Systems Integration Test on May 20th 2011.

Through project execution, COMSOFT was responsible for the provision of the complete messaging solution for the handling and distribution of flight plans in the form of the renowned market leading aeronautical messaging system AIDA-NG. Moreover, the German ATC supplier contributed various products for the processing and recording of surveillance data, such as Europe’s most propagated surveillance tracker ARTAS, the powerful surveillance front-end processor RMCDE, the flexible surveillance data converter ADR, and the exceptionally reliable recording solution RRR. SMATSA thus joined the company of many European ANSPs by opting for the complete surveillance package.
