Spantech Builds a Military Aircraft MRO Hangar in Morocco

Spantech is building a new aircraft hangar at Benslimane Airport near Casablanca for Maintenance Aero Maroc (MAM), part of Sabena Engineering. The modular MRO hangar is designed to support heavy maintenance operations for military aircraft, including C-130 Hercules and F-16 platforms.

The military aircraft hangar is developed for high-performance maintenance environments and will support efficient maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations. The facility is scheduled to become operational in the second half of 2026.

This project strengthens Morocco’s position as a regional MRO hub and supports the development of local aviation capabilities. It also demonstrates Spantech’s expertise in delivering modular maintenance hangars for both defense and commercial aviation.
