Successful IATCI Integration between Southern Airways and United Airlines

Southern Airways Express is a commuter airline operating across the United States in the Gulf, New England and Hawaiian Regions. Southern selected Airline Choice as their Departure Control System in early 2019 migrating from a legacy platform.
Recently, Southern has been expanding their interline agreements with major US carriers and wished to facilitate full Inter Airline Through Check-In (IATCI) to provide a more seamless experience to their connecting passengers.
Southern had worked alongside the team at Airline Choice in the development, integration and testing for full inbound & outbound IATCI capabilities integrated into the Departure Control System. Southern is the launch customer for IATCI capabilities with their first inbound/outbound partner being United Airlines.
Passengers can now seamlessly check-in for their connecting flight (either connecting to a Southern Airways Express flight from United or making the connection to a United flight) at their point of origin, through checking their luggage and receiving their boarding pass(es) for their onward journey.
