Badan SARN Nasional has signed a SAT for TAMS -Tern AFTN solution, as a part of new a Search And Rescue (SAR) system in Indonesia. The main contractor of the project is the Spanish company Inster.
For this project Tern Systems delivers a central TAMS – AFTN Switch, TAMS – AFTN Gateways with attached TAMS – AFTN message terminals as well as connection of the gateway to external radios. The system is being installed on 20 sites in Indonesia.
