UK’s leading access specialists strengthen sales team

The UK’s leading access specialists, Bilco UK, Howe Green Ltd and Profab Access have recently strengthened their sales team.

The three brands all serve the same market and work with architects and specifiers to create safe and easy access solutions. Bilco UK supply horizontal access products including roof access hatches and smoke vents. Howe Green design and fabricate a range of floor access covers, wall hatches and ceiling panels and Profab manufacture fire certified riser doors, steel doors and access panels. All three companies are part of ERA, the home security experts.

Richard Fletcher has been appointed as Northern Regional Sales Manager for Howe Green and Matt Cunningham recruited as Sales Director with responsibility for all three brands.

Richard is a skilled sales professional with a background in the textiles industry. He joined Howe Green from high-end carpet tile manufacturer Modulyss, where he worked as an area sales manager.

Richard comments, “My experience with flooring is undoubtedly proving beneficial to my role with Howe Green. Access covers may seem a simple solution to reach concealed building services but there are so many different factors to consider if you want to get the specification right.   I am enjoying getting to grips with the finer details!”

Sales Director Matt Cunningham previously spent 15 years with LafargeHolcim Group. Matt had responsibility for managing the cement import business and the integration of the Aggregate Industries cement production facilities following their acquisition.

Over the course of his career at Lafarge Matt worked in several different roles including Business Improvement Manager, National Sales Manager, Commercial Manager and latterly as Head of Trading and Supply Chain. Matt’s depth and breadth of commercial expertise and his experience in building strong teams ensure he is well equipped for his new position.

Matt explains, “It’s an exciting prospect to be heading up the sales teams for three such well respected brands. I’m looking forward to working with the team to develop and implement a strong sales strategy for the Safe Access All Areas proposition. Being able to offer architects, specifiers and building services professionals a full range of tried, tested, and trusted, access solutions is a real bonus. When you add to that the opportunities for new product development – we’re definitely going to be making life easier for our customers.”
