All transportation solutions are a compromise between economic, technical and operational considerations. We take into account the required system availability, speed, throughput capacity, types of baggage, available space and tracking & tracing needs and come up with the best solutions.

Vanderlande offers three proven solutions to meet transportation demands;

  • Transporting baggage loose or in totes on conveyor belts, with BLUEVEYOR or GREENVEYOR
  • High speed transportation in Destination Coded Vehicle (DCV) tubs with TUBTRAX or
  • High speed transportation in DCV carts with BAGTRAX, especially suited to cover great distances in a short time.

Each of our DCV solutions uses individually transported carriers which maximises system accuracy and traceability. Vanderlande Industries has successfully implemented several DCV systems at major airports since 1990.

Vanderlande’s baggage conveyors have a proven track-record as a reliable building block for Baggage Handling Systems. Our standard conveyor requires little maintenance and also minimises energy consumption. Our latest conveyor development, the BLUEVEYOR, was developed under Cradle-to-Cradle principles and is therefore extremely energy-efficient and optimised for re-use and recycling of materials at end of life.
