The current summer flight plan for Vienna International Airport is now available in pocket format. It shows that – once again -Vienna is the most important starting point for travel to Eastern Europe: with 44 destinations Vienna International Airport has the largest offering. In comparison, Frankfurt has 38 destinations in its flighth plan, followed by Munich with 35 destinations, Prague (29 destinations), Zurich (24 destinations), Budapest (22 destinations) and Milan MXP (17 destinations).
 
New connections to Great Britain
The 2009 summer flight plan also includes new routes for passengers: on 2 April 2009, Easy Jet will introduce daily flights to London Gatwick. This new connection complements the current route from Vienna to London Luton. The Irish airline Aer Lingus also starts daily flights from Vienna to London Gatwick on 20 April. This carrier has connected Vienna and Dublin since January 2005.

The pocket flight plan covers the period up to 24 October 2009 and provides an exact overview of direct flights and selected connections as well as useful information on Vienna International Airport.
