The panel will discuss consequences of the civil-driven SESAR programme for military airspace users. Understanding the economic relevance and willing to support the expected achievements, militaries across Europe need to understand the effects SESAR will have for their air operations. As participant in airspace with some special needs the European Air Forces have agreed to support SES and integrate military needs as early as possible.

This panel will discuss how cyber security threats affect the ATM environment today from various perspectives, and, if, and how the evolution in ATM might require a new approach with regard to security measures. The panel is composed of people presenting their experience with cyber security in ATM from civil and military perspective. New aspects arising through increased centralisation of services will also be brought into the discussion.
