iFIDS.com integrates real-time weather data into FIDS and GIDS

The ability to incorporate detailed weather for all destination cities is now available with iFIDS.com. Users may now enhance FIDS and GIDS displays with any or all available weather data including visibility, air pressure, ambient temperature and more, in either imperial or metric units. Display screens can be configured to show weather data exclusively or integrated with flight and gate information.

iFIDS.com Active Flight Notification

iFIDS.com customers can now offer their travelling public full active flight notification services. Travellers can be notified of flight status changes via Email, Web-Phone or Text Messaging on handheld devices. Also available are XML and FTP data export utilities which allow airports to accumulate historical information regarding flight delays.

iFIDS.com Screen Builder Roll-out

The newly introduced iFIDS.com Screen Builder allows for on-line virtual screen design. Our unique web-based screen designer allows all users to create, modify and manage all aspects of screen layout from color to content. Imagine being able to design a working screen for your airport, over the Internet, that could include multiple frames, with each frame displaying different iFIDS.com information.

iFIDS.com Image Server Extensions

The iFIDS.com Image Server has been extended to allow management of Flash 4 and 5 files in addition to the original text messaging (visual paging), static and animated .gif images and .jpg images. This new functionality allows for much greater flexibility and versatility in the implementation of messaging and multimedia.

iFIDS.com Search Engine Unveiled

With the addition of the new iFIDS.com Search Engine users can easily search for flight arrivals or departures by any combination of Time, Carrier and Airport, all from the comfort of their own homes. See a live demonstration in the iFIDS.com On-line section.
