Construction of the logistic centre of Blickle Räder+Rollen GmbH u. Co. KG has progressed quickly.

The construction of the high rack warehouse was delayed by a few weeks because of a long and harsh winter but the structural works have now been completed.

Areas currently being completed are the interior fittings, electrical installations, and the assembly of the conveyor and storage systems. This will ensure that the logistic centre will be completed and up and running by the end of this year.

The 2-storey logistics centre has a space of 2,400 m2 on every floor. The incoming goods department and the despatch department will be located on the ground floor and the picking and packaging of the goods will be on the top floor.

The high rack warehouse, which will be 80 m long, 25 m wide and 26 m high, has space for 15,000 pallet cages. Inside there will be 6 lanes that will be served by fully automated rack feeders.

The storage warehouse for small parts which is located adjacent to the logistics centre will provide room for 27,000 small part containers for up to 60 kg and will also be equipped with fully automated rack feeders.
