AIRPORT FENCES IN FRP MESH

Airport fences are made with FRP mesh and pultruded profiles and work as perimeter fences. They are radio transparent, meaning permeable to electromagnetic waves, and frangible. They are security fences compliant with the frangibility requirements set out in the ICAO 9157 ‘Aerodrome Design Manual – Part 6 – Frangibility’ standard.

The frangibility of the structures helps to reduce the extent of the damage and loss of control of the aircraft due to an accidental impact against the fence.

To ease the installation phase, M.M. provides a complete assembly kit with all the necessary elements and accessories.

Upon request both profiles can be painted in accordance to customer’s specifications.

To increase perimeter security, this type of fence can be supplied with one or two upper sloped arms for barbed wire combined with pedestrian and CE marked vehicular gates with widths up to 8m.
