HYBRID DIESEL GROUND POWER UNIT

The FCA-D Hybrid Diesel Ground Power Unit represents the latest generation of mobile aircraft ground power systems developed by TET ESTEL to provide reliable electrical power for aircraft and helicopters during pre-flight preparation, maintenance, and ground servicing operations.

The unit delivers stable 3×115/200 VAC, 400 Hz power up to 180 kVA, ensuring dependable aircraft ground power in locations where fixed electrical infrastructure is unavailable, limited, or under development.

The 2026 model introduces a new compact and optimized design, reducing the overall footprint while maintaining high power output and operational reliability. The compact construction improves maneuverability on the apron and simplifies transportation and positioning around aircraft stands.

The FCA-D can also be supplied in a combined AC/DC configuration, integrating 400 Hz AC power with 28 VDC aircraft power output in a single unit. This allows the GPU to support both aircraft onboard systems and DC ground power requirements during servicing and maintenance operations.

To support various aircraft electrical systems, the FCA-D can be configured with 24/48 VDC (27/54 VDC) outputs as well as 36 V AC, making it suitable for a wide range of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopter applications.

Designed for maximum operational flexibility, the unit can operate either from its integrated diesel generator set or from an external power source, allowing it to function both as an autonomous mobile GPU and as a ground-connected power converter.

In addition to aviation applications, the FCA-D can also serve as a mobile power source for infrastructure and maintenance equipment, providing 3×400/230 V, 50 Hz output when required.
