Designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, the Mikado chair has a quiet yet confident presence. It impresses not only through its refined form but also with outstanding comfort. More than a chair, Mikado is a versatile seating family available as both a side chair and armchair, with models in multiple heights and configurations to suit a wide range of settings.
The Mikado seating experience is defined by upholstery on all sides as well as the movement of the backrest. Whether used in airport lounges, hospitality areas, cafés or waiting spaces, Mikado offers comfort that responds naturally to the user.
Versatility anywhere
Mikado comes in a wide selection of fabric covers and diverse colours, as well as a choice of leg variants, enabling countless configurations that can be easily modified. Whether used in lounges, restaurants, cafés or meeting areas within airports, Mikado adapts seamlessly to different settings while maintaining a consistent design language.
Modular components for greater sustainability longevity
Mikado contains a high proportion of recycled materials. The individual components, including the covers, can be readily repaired or replaced, helping to extend the chair’s longevity. At the end of its lifespan, all parts can be separated for recycling or correct disposal, supporting a more sustainable approach to furnishing high-use environments.
