Paris Beauvais Airport

Beauvais–Tillé Airport, branded as Paris-Beauvais Airport, is an international airport near the city of Beauvais in the commune of Tillé in France. In 2016, it was the tenth busiest airport in France, handling 3,997,856 passengers, and is mostly used by charter and low-cost airlines.

With a perimeter of about 12 km, the airport covers 230 hectares. It has 12 airplane parking areas located on 55,000 m2.

It has two runways: a 12-30 runway of 2,430 m x 45 m, and a 04-22 runway of 708 m x 18 m. Runway 12-30 is equipped with instrument landing system ILS category III in threshold 12 and ILS category I in threshold 30.

Paris Beauvais Airport’s size allows for a comfortable flow of passengers and the optimization of the time they spend at the airport: waiting times are shorter, baggage delivery is immediate upon arrival, and shuttles to/from Paris are scheduled for each flight.

Paris Beauvais Airport is also able to offer quick stops (25 minutes for the A320 and B738) and short taxiing times (5 minutes maximum). It thus ensures flight punctuality which is nearly 10 points higher than the national average, and can maximize avoidance of flight cancelations due to local weather conditions.
