An Oasis While Traveling: DEN’s Park on the Plaza is the Paradise You’ve Been Waiting for

If you need some fresh air before or after your travels, head to Denver International Airport’s (DEN) Park on the Plaza! The open–air plaza, located between the Jeppesen Terminal and the Westin Hotel, will once again become an outdoor oasis from May 27 through Oct. 2.

Visitors can enjoy sunshine and fresh air, play cornhole or relax on lounge seating and grass–like turf. Throughout the summer, passengers can kick up their feet and enjoy a variety of events. The first event to kick off the season will be a performance by the historic Denver Taiko Drum Group on May 31 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in recognition of National Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage month. The Park on the Plaza is located pre–security. It is just a few steps from the RTD A–Line and a short jaunt from the parking garage ($7/hour garage parking and short–term parking).
