Budapest Airport celebrates Condor debut with launch of Frankfurt service

Budapest Airport celebrates the arrival of Condor with the launch of the airline’s high- frequency Frankfurt service.

  • Three daily flights boost capacity and flexibility on a key European business route.
  • Enhances global connectivity with seamless onward links across Europe, the Americas, Africa,and Asia.

Budapest Airport, part of the VINCI Airports network, today celebrates the arrival of Condor as the German carrier launches its new Budapest–Frankfurt service. The airline will operate the route three times daily using its Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, providing passengers with greater flexibility on one of Europe’s most important business and travel corridors. The introduction of Condor’s service significantly boosts capacity between Budapest and Germany’s financial hub.

Beyond Germany, Condor’s Budapest operations will provide passengers with seamless access to long-haul destinations, many with under two hours of layover time. Passengers can reach a wide range of international destinations efficiently and conveniently including the west coast of North America with San Francisco and Seattle, through to New York on the east coast, onward to the Caribbean with Cancún and Punta Cana, across Africa via Johannesburg, and further east to Bangkok in Asia. Within Europe, Condor will enhance connections to underserved destinations, offering more frequent access to cities like Berlin, Hamburg and Paris.
