Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport

Budapest Airport is one of the most important strategic facilities in Hungary and a stable player of the Hungarian economy. It is also one of the largest and most attractive employers in Hungary. We operate responsibly, safely, sustainably, as a good neighbor. As a large employer, we not only employ the approximately 1200 employees of the BUD group, but we are also responsible for the 50 000 staff of another 220 service providers and partners. Budapest Airport thus directly contributes to the livelihood of 1200 families and another 50 000 households indirectly.

We do everything we can to ensure that one of the most important airports in Central and Eastern Europe should remain one of the fastest developing and best-ranked airports in the region. Demonstrating this ambition, Budapest Airport has an excellent track record in service quality, which has been recognized with the Skytrax award of “best airport in the region” seven times in a row – the first time in the history of the awards that an Eastern European airport kept its top position for seven consecutive years. In 2019, the airlines also named BUD’s marketing team the best in the world, from hundreds of airports.

Our objectives remain unchanged: sustainability, a high-quality passenger experience and continuous development.
