Gatwick to Bring Airport Advertising Estate Management In-House

Company London Gatwick Airport
Date 20.10.2026

London Gatwick is bringing management of its airport-wide advertising estate in-house from 1 April 2027, creating new opportunities for brands and agencies to work directly with the airport.

The move will give Gatwick greater flexibility in developing advertising campaigns and commercial partnerships across its media estate, which includes more than 250 digital advertising screens, static advertising locations and passenger engagement opportunities.

With more than 40 million passengers travelling through the airport annually, Gatwick offers advertisers access to a diverse international audience across key stages of the passenger journey.

The airport has invested significantly in its advertising infrastructure in recent years. Bringing management in-house is intended to strengthen relationships with advertisers and agencies, enabling more tailored campaigns and new commercial opportunities.

Oliver Bedford, Head of Airport Access, Marketing & Commercial Products at London Gatwick, said the change would allow the airport to work more closely with brands and agencies, develop more creative opportunities and build partnerships that deliver value for all parties.

The airport also acknowledged the contribution of Global, which has managed its advertising estate over many years.

The change comes as Gatwick advances plans for its Northern Runway Programme, which has received government approval to progress and could enable the airport to accommodate up to 80 million passengers annually once completed.
