If you are travelling outside of the Schengen-area, your flight departs from the gate area after passport control. Many shops have opened at the gate area: Max Mara, Urban Attitude, fashion brands Boss, MCM, Montblanc and Longchamp, and the new airport kiosk WHSmith.
Finnish brands in the area include Iittala, Marimekko, Moomin Shop, and Finspiration.
Also, brands Bvlgari, Burberry, Capi Electronics, Collection, and Lindroos are open in the area. Airport kiosks R Kiosk and WHSmith offer take-away options and reading for a long flight.
Duty Free shopping near your gate
After passport control, there are several Duty Free stores on the way to your gate, for example, at gates 37 and 40. They offer a variety of fragrances, cosmetics and sweets.
From the same brand, a brand-new fashion store including brands Boss, MCM, Montblanc and Longchamp has recently opened at gate 40. Popular brands offer clothing, accessories, and handbags.
Tastes from around the world – take away on board
There are about 30 restaurants and cafés at Helsinki Airport, of which Ajisen Ramen and Asia Street Cooking offer Asian flavours in the gate area 37-40.
Restaurants Nordic Kitchen and Jamie’s Deli, on the other hand, serve passengers’ favourite meals and easy bites to grab on the go.
Adored by families, the iconic Moomin Coffee also serves in the area, and world-famous Starbucks Coffee, as well. Both offer a variety of food and beverage options to take away and enjoy on board the long flight.
