New hotspot at Schiphol: restaurant and bar The Wanderer opens in Lounge 1

A special new destination has just opened at Schiphol Airport: The Wanderer, a full-service cocktail bar with around 240 seats located in Lounge 1. Here, travelers can enjoy drinks and dishes from all over the world throughout the day. The concept is inspired by the vibrant atmosphere of urban areas in cities such as Amsterdam, London, and Barcelona.

The interior of The Wanderer is extravagant and surreal, featuring surprising elements that create a unique setting. Think of an art-deco chandelier, a gleaming cocktail bar and display cases filled with souvenirs. The bar represents the living room of ´The Wanderer´, an imaginary character who shares his experiences and adventures from around the world with travelers. The concept aligns with Schiphol’s ambition to offer travelers not only convenience but also inspiration and experience.
