Over 1600 aviation specialists has been certified by Boryspil International Airport in 9 months of 2025

During 9 months of 2025, Boryspil International Airport conducted vocational training, upgrade training and refresh training of 1689 aviation specialists, including 1404 airport employees and 285 employees of third-party organisations (Ukraine SE, Antonov JSC, Lviv SE, Chernivtsi ME, Zhulyany ME, Skyline Express Airlines LLC, Wind Rose Airline LLC, AeroHandling LLC and others).

In particular, during these 9 months, the ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre of Boryspil International Airport conducted 89 training courses on the following fields: AVSEC screening passengers and baggage, courses for the personnel performing patrolling and providing access control, aviation security management, etc.

The Ground Handling Training Centre also provided training in the following areas: security in the airside (restricted) area, rules for the carriage of dangerous goods by air, passenger handling, weight calculation and load control, and others.

It is worth noting that aviation security personnel continues to be theoretically and practically trained and tested on the basis of the ICAO Aviation Security Training Centre on CASRA computer simulators under the X-RAY TUTOR 5 training programme on an ongoing basis.

Boryspil International Airport maintains its position as a centre of vocational training, which ensures high security and quality standards in the industry. Regular trainings provide a solid basis for maintaining and upgrading the proficiency of Ukrainian aviation specialists.
