Eco-Friendly Aircraft Engine Cooling with New AFC-22e System.
This product was developed to meet market demands. It offers free movement and offers the possibility of use both inside the hangar and outside on the apron without needing to have an external power available, as it is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion phosphate (LiFePO4) battery and battery management system. At the same time, it is quieter than previous models.
An upgraded iteration of its original system – the AFC-22 – which first came to market in 2021, the AFC-22e is FCS Finland’s latest and greatest engine cooling technology that takes all of the most cutting-edge features from the first model and incorporates key new additions.
The AFC-22e cooling system provides the same, revolutionary cooling effect as earlier models – AFC-22 and AFC-23 hybrid.
The main unit is connected to the jet engine’s exhaust nozzle with a flexible hose that has a special made vacuum adapter. This causes ambient air to flow through the core engine. That will cool down the core engine in fraction of the time typically needed. Custom fit vacuum adapters are available for different engine models.
