Adecco Airport Services supplies airside-ready, fully vetted staff for airline ground operations and aircraft turnaround, working directly with airlines and with the ground handlers who serve them. The service covers sourcing, screening and vetting, airport badging support, mandatory pre-start training, contracting, deployment, on-site workforce management and reporting.
Roles delivered include ramp agents, marshallers, pushback operators, baggage handlers, cargo loaders and Unit Load Device builders, aircraft and cabin cleaners, and flight dispatch support. Every hire is prepared for the operating reality before first shift – night, weekend and split shifts, physically demanding work, strict SOPs and zero tolerance for delay – through pre-hire briefings, realistic job previews and pre-employment training aligned to airport and airline procedures.
Turnaround work is unforgiving of gaps in supply, so the model is built around a live, pre-vetted talent pool maintained by a centralised recruitment hub, combined with an on-site team at or near the airport handling meet-and-greet, onboarding, rostering support, attendance, engagement and escalation. Vetting lead times are planned into ramp-up schedules rather than discovered during them, because airside clearance is typically slower and more stringent than other regulated sectors.
Capacity scales with the flying programme. On established programmes Adecco sustains close to full fill rates through summer and holiday peaks, has cut time-to-fill from weeks to 7-10 days, and can deploy from 10 to more than 50 recruiters within a month to support a step change in demand, a new base, or an irregular ramp-up. Retention is protected with monthly published rosters, on-site engagement, transport support where feasible, cross-skilling between baggage and passenger duties, and temp-to-permanent pathways.
Airlines operating across multiple stations are governed through a single model with a named Global Accounts Owner and Global Delivery Owner, giving consistent standards station to station, one escalation route, and reporting that consolidates across countries where we operate.
