The FCA series solid-state frequency converters are designed to provide reliable 400 Hz ground power for aircraft during pre-flight preparation, maintenance, and ground operations at airports worldwide. In addition to aviation applications, FCA converters can also be used as stable power sources for aircraft manufacturing facilities, hangars, and test benches.

The FCA product family covers a wide power range from 10 kVA up to 350 kVA, offering flexible solutions for various operational environments.

To suit different airport infrastructures, FCA converters are available in three main configurations:

Stationary units – ideal for fixed installations in terminals, hangars, and maintenance areas.
Mobile units – flexible GPU solutions for apron operations and remote stands.
Under-bridge systems – designed for integration into passenger boarding bridges.

Under-bridge installations can be supplied with motorized cable reels or with fixed cable connections, depending on the operational requirements and airport infrastructure.

This flexibility allows seamless integration into airport gates, hangars, maintenance facilities, and aircraft production environments.

The 90 kVA FCA model is the most widely used configuration and represents an optimal balance between power, size, and efficiency, making it suitable for the majority of narrow-body aircraft and general aviation applications.

For higher-power requirements, FCA converters provide reliable high-power performance.

The FCA-180 model can simultaneously supply two commercial aircraft with 3×115/200 VAC, 400 Hz, thanks to its two independent 90 kVA outputs. These outputs can also be paralleled to provide 180 kVA to a single aircraft when required.
