The Fluid Transfer International hydrant pit cleaner/servicing vehicles Capacity ranging from 5,000 Litre to 20,000 Litres useable capacity mounted on a 4×2 / 6×2 or 6×4 configuration chassis. The Fluid Transfer International hydrant pit cleaner conforms to latest European Standards BSEN12312-5, EI1581 6th edition, ISO1825 and JIG 1 13 requirements. This hydrant pit cleaner suitable to perform the following operations: routine flushing of hydrant pit valves, routine sampling from hydrant low point drains and purging high point vents, cleaning of hydrant pits with air, water and removal of dirt and water with vacuum suction, automatic dumping of clean samples back to flushing tank from sampling jar, hydraulically controlled lifting of hydrant pit lids. This vehicle can be produced in left-hand or right-hand drive variants, offering Operating Temperature of -20°C to +50°C as standard with low temperature options also available upon request, Fully ATEX approved electrical barrier system, Fueltronic™ II refuelling management system incorporating deadman timer and Interlock Monitoring System.

Hydrant Pit Flushing: Ø100mm inlet hose fitted with heavy duty castors and a Carter intake coupler, hydraulically operated stowage beam position around the vehicle, Deadman provided to actuate the opening and closing of the pit valve, The deadman is incorporated with high level shutoff device, A basket type strainer with drain valve dust cap to be installed before tank entry
Low Sampling Point: A low point sampling system is connected directly into the flushing tank with non return valve and tank filling is protected by high level shutoff system during the sampling
Pit Cleaning Tanks: Two stainless steel tanks with 500L and 1000L capacity for water and detergent respectively are fitted
Detergent Cleaning System: The jetting pump is capable of producing 140 bar of pressure for clearing of pits. Pump is linked to the water and detergent tanks so that detergent and water can be used simultaneously or independently. A hydraulic operated hose reel with 20m of Ø12.5mm hose is attached to a trigger operated lance, 1.0m in length
Air Drying System: A spring rewind hosereel with 20m of Ø12.5mm hose with 1.0m long trigger operated lance fitted for high pressure drying air
Couplings: Carter, Cla-Val or Meggitt
Pipework:  Stainless Steel pipework throughout
Interlock Management: Fueltronic™ MKII vehicle control system, package options are available in Bronze, Silver, Gold,
