SATO supplies a wide range of logistics labels for airlines, airports, cargo operators, freight forwarders and ground handling companies, covering identification, classification, traceability and security requirements throughout the air cargo and logistics process.
Our logistics labels can be produced in different dimensions, shapes, materials and adhesive constructions, depending on the intended application and operating environment. They are suitable for cargo identification, shipment handling, warehouse processes, special handling instructions and a wide range of aviation-specific applications.
Products can be used for the identification and classification of dangerous goods, special cargo and other shipments requiring clearly visible handling information. This includes labels and markings for dangerous goods classes, “Cargo Aircraft Only” warnings, orientation labels, handling labels, priority or special handling instructions, temperature-sensitive shipments and other cargo-specific requirements used within air transport operations.
Labels can be fully customized with different designs, colors, pictograms, barcodes, QR codes, numbering and variable data. Serialisation can also be incorporated where traceability or individual identification of shipments, packages, containers, ULDs or other assets is required.
For applications where security is essential, SATO can provide tamper-evident labels designed to indicate unauthorized opening or interference. These solutions are suitable for protecting cargo and goods, sealing containers and equipment, and for aircraft sealing applications where visible evidence of tampering is required.
Depending on the application, different constructions can be supplied, including standard self-adhesive labels, multi-layer labels, booklet labels and RFID-enabled labels. Multi-layer and booklet solutions are particularly suitable where additional instructions, declarations, documentation or multilingual information must be incorporated within a limited surface area.
RFID-enabled labels can support automated identification, tracking and logistics processes, while variable printing and serialisation can be integrated according to the customer’s operational requirements.
A broad range of face materials, adhesives and liners is available, allowing labels to be adapted to different surfaces, temperatures, environmental conditions and handling processes.
Production is available across a wide range of quantities, from smaller batches of specialized aviation labels to high-volume recurring supply programs. Different designs and variants can be combined where technically feasible, helping customers optimize procurement and reduce unnecessary inventory.
SATO’s logistics label solutions are designed around flexibility, reliability and customization, providing a single source for standard cargo identification labels as well as specialized dangerous goods, security, multi-layer and RFID applications.
Specifications tailored to customer’s demands.
