The newest addition to our Lute Recycling Range, the Airport Preparation Unit has been designed to help significantly improve the passenger divestment experience.
Features of the complete design include a 150 litre capacity for mixed recycling, an 80 litre capacity for general waste and a 30 litre capacity liner for sharps collection including a narrow opening disposal chute to stop anything from being retrieved from the bin. The unit also includes an internal divider to prevent access to the sharps from the general waste aperture, with two bag dispensers fitted to the backboard of the unit with top openings for refilling clear plastic bags.
This three-bin modular unit incorporates two sets of racks for cases and bags to be placed whilst passengers remove restricted items, with a transparent cabinet to display examples of accepted and restricted items. The curved design allows waste streams to be easily identified.
